Splints and bandages for fingers
Finger fixation bandage for the hand after a stroke.
Indications for use
- Relaxes overstrained muscles
- Corrects the biomechanical axes of the upper limb
- Relieves and protects from "shrinkage" between the fingers
- Prevents joint contracture
- Restores normal range of motion.

Finger fixation bandage for the hand after a stroke. The bandage helps prevent curvature and deformation of the hand, finger flexion, and twisting of the limb into a 'claw hand' position. The use of a finger separator board promotes muscle and ligament relaxation. It is applied from the first day after a stroke to keep the hand in an extended position and prevent joint contracture. The separator should not be worn constantly. Wearing and resting periods should last 3-4 hours. The separation of the fingers also allows the skin between them to breathe.
